Elf Lubricants holds dealer meet in Dhaka
[Dhaka, September 7, 2026] Asian Petroleum Ltd, the local distributor of Elf Lubricants, held its annual dealer meet at The Westin Dhaka on Saturday, bringing together dealers and business partners from across the country, along with company officials and representatives from the principal.
The event focused on the role of dealers in expanding Elf’s business in Bangladesh, as well as market conditions and the company’s plans for the coming period.
Kosuke Yoshida, director of Asian Petroleum Ltd, said the company’s growth was closely linked to its dealer network.
“Our dealers are an integral part of Elf’s journey in Bangladesh. Sustainable growth is only possible when we grow together with our partners, understand the market closely and continue creating value for our customers,” he said.
Serajul Mahmud Chowdhury, assistant general manager (AGM) of Asian Petroleum Ltd, said there was further scope for Elf to expand its presence in Bangladesh through closer cooperation with its dealers.
“We want every initiative we undertake to create meaningful and measurable business impact. By working more closely with our dealers and strengthening our presence in the market, we believe Elf has significant opportunities for further growth in Bangladesh,” he said.
The company’s head of sales also spoke about strengthening dealer relationships, expanding market coverage and driving sales growth.
Several dealers shared their experiences of working with Elf and discussed developments and opportunities in the lubricant market.
The programme also included an award ceremony, where the company recognised its top-performing dealers and salespersons for their performance over the past year.
According to company officials, the annual gathering is part of an effort to strengthen relationships across the wider distribution network, including dealers, workshops, retailers and consumers.
