Lily body wash named Product of the Year 2026
Lily Whipped Shea Body Wash has been named the “Product of the Year 2026”, emerging as the top product among around 1,200 products, according to Remark HB Limited, the brand’s owner.
The announcement was made at a programme held at a hotel in Dhaka on Monday, where representatives of Lily Whipped Shea Body Wash received the award.
The product competed with several other products, including Lily Serum Glow Soap, Lily Face Wash, Neor Face Wash, Lily Ultra Soft Gel, Lily Shampoo, Oryx Detergent and Tilex.
The selection was based on a combination of sales performance, market research and consumer feedback, rather than a single indicator, the company said.
According to Remark, market acceptance, consumer confidence, sales trends and the product’s combined cleansing, moisturising and skincare benefits were also taken into consideration.
Abir Adnan, chief business officer of Lily, said the company does not assess a product solely by its sales volume.
“Why consumers buy a product, their experience after using it, whether they repurchase it and how well the product is accepted in the market are also important to us,” he said.
He said the company aims to develop Lily not only as a consumer brand but also as a leading personal-care brand in households.
Lily Whipped Shea Body Wash brand ambassador and actor Keya Payel expressed her delight over the recognition.
She said her association with Lily had given her an opportunity to observe consumers’ interest in the product closely. She also said she had received positive feedback from many consumers about its use, fragrance and feel on the skin.
“I believe this love from consumers will help Lily move towards greater success,” she said.
KM Sadman Sayeed, director of Remark, said consumer acceptance was key to the success of any product.
“In the case of Lily Whipped Shea Body Wash, we considered not only sales but also market response and consumer experiences. The decision to recognise it as the Product of the Year was made after analysing information from various sources,” he said.
Company officials said Remark was working to introduce new products in the personal-care market in line with changing consumer needs and lifestyles. Consumer feedback and experiences are also being considered in planning future products, they said.
Remark HB Limited, owner of the US-affiliated Lily brand, produces beauty, skincare, personal-care, baby-care and home-care products. The company said it operates with modern manufacturing facilities, research and development and quality-control systems for both domestic and international markets.
According to the company, it has obtained various certifications, including ISO, cGMP and Halal certifications, while one of its factories has also received a Green Factory Award.
