RangsX Delivers 18 Electric Cargo Vans to DHL Express Bangladesh
[Dhaka, July 14, 2026] RangsX, the future mobility unit of Rangs Group, has delivered 18 fully electric Dongfeng cargo vans to DHL Express Bangladesh, marking one of the country's largest deployments of electric commercial vehicles and a significant step towards greener logistics.
The vehicles were officially handed over at a ceremony held at the Rangs Assembly Plant on July 8. The initiative supports Bangladesh's efforts to expand electric vehicle (EV) adoption and reduce carbon emissions while promoting sustainable commercial transportation.
Ahmed Shahriar Anwar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rangs Group's Automotive Division, described the delivery as a milestone for the country's EV ecosystem.
“The handover of these 18 fully electric cargo vans is more than the completion of a commercial agreement- it represents a new chapter in Bangladesh's electric mobility journey. The trust placed in us by a global company like DHL is a strong endorsement of our capabilities,” he said.
Shah Mohammad Rumman Bin Rouf, Business Head of Eicher Bus & Truck, Dongfeng EV and Pickup Division at Rangs Group said, “logistics operators continue to face rising fuel and maintenance costs. Electric cargo vans can significantly reduce operating expenses while improving the efficiency and reliability of logistics services.”
Mohammad Miarul Haque, Managing Director (MD) of DHL Express Bangladesh said, “the company remains committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions. The addition of fully electric cargo vans to our fleet marks an important milestone in our sustainability journey in Bangladesh and reinforces our commitment to greener logistics.”
Senior officials from DHL Express Bangladesh and Rangs Group attended the handover ceremony and expressed hope that the initiative would accelerate the adoption of electric commercial vehicles across Bangladesh's corporate and logistics sectors.
