Students showcase creativity in emerging technologies
Galaxy School and College in Pabna’s Bera upazila hosted ‘AI Future Fest 2026’, a day-long science and technology exhibition aimed at promoting interest in artificial intelligence and innovation among students.
The event brought together young minds who presented a diverse range of projects focused on AI, robotics and eco-friendly technologies, reflecting a growing enthusiasm for modern scientific advancements at the grassroots level.
Nuren Maisha Khan, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Bera, attended the programme as chief guest and praised the students for their creativity and forward-thinking approach. She highlighted the importance of nurturing technological skills among the younger generation to prepare them for future challenges.
The judging panel was led by Dr. Sadid Munir, Associate Professor at United International University, alongside Md. Ariful Islam, Assistant Professor at Pabna University of Science and Technology. They evaluated the projects based on innovation, practicality and presentation.
Among other attendees were Nitai Chandra Sarkar, Officer-in-Charge of Bera Model Police Station, Md. Saiful Islam, Upazila Education Officer, and Asif Shamim Joy, Academic Supervisor at the Upazila Secondary Education Office.
Presiding over the event, S. M. Rifat Shahriar, Chairman of the institution, said the festival aimed to familiarise students with cutting-edge technologies from an early stage, enabling them to become globally competitive.
The event concluded with an award ceremony, where outstanding participants received crests and certificates, marking a successful celebration of youth-driven innovation.
