Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Haider Donates Laptops to SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh
DHAKA, July 20, 2026 — Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider has reaffirmed his country's commitment to supporting educational development in Bangladesh through a visit to the National Office and family houses of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, where he donated laptops to children from different parts of the country.
The visit underscored the Pakistan High Commission’s continued engagement in humanitarian and educational initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable children through access to digital learning resources.
During the visit, High Commissioner Haider met with National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, Md. Enamul Haque, and handed over laptops to resident children to support their academic pursuits and digital literacy.
Welcoming the initiative, National Director Enamul Haque appreciated the Pakistan High Commission’s sustained cooperation and valuable contribution to expanding educational opportunities for children living in SOS Children’s Villages across Bangladesh.
In his interaction with the children, the Pakistani envoy encouraged them to make the best use of the educational resources available, pursue their studies with dedication, and build successful futures through hard work, determination and perseverance.
Highlighting the importance of a nurturing environment in child development, High Commissioner Haider also commended the staff members and caregivers of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh for their unwavering commitment to providing care, guidance and hope to children under their protection.
