Modern retail expands in Dhaka city
Leading retail chain Shwapno has inaugurated its 865th outlet in Maghbazar, Dhaka, further expanding its presence in the capital. The new store, located at Maghbazar Convention Center Limited, was officially opened on Sunday.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials of ACI Logistics Limited, including Business Director Sohel Tanvir Khan and other key officials. Representatives from Maghbazar Convention Center Limited and invited guests were also present at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Sohel Tanvir Khan said the initiative aims to ensure convenient, reliable, and quality shopping for urban consumers. He noted that the expansion reflects the brand’s commitment to enhancing everyday retail experiences in busy city life.
The newly launched outlet offers a wide range of products, including daily grocery essentials, fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, and meat under one roof. Designed with a modern layout and clean environment, the store is expected to provide customers with a seamless and comfortable shopping experience.
To mark the event, customers are being offered special promotional deals and discounts. Company officials said such initiatives will continue as part of efforts to bring modern retail services closer to consumers.
Shwapno also reaffirmed its plan to expand its network across the country, strengthening its position in Bangladesh’s evolving retail market.
