Fakhrul hails Sher-e-Bangla’s legacy and reforms
BNP Secretary General and LGRD minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam has said contribution of Sher-e-Bangla A K Fazlul Huq in securing the just rights of the people of this country will never be forgotten.
He said, "Fazlul Haq also holds an important place in the history as a legend of education advocacy and communal harmony."
Mirza Fakhrul made the remarks today in a message on the occasion of the death anniversary of national leader Sher-e-Bangla A K Fazlul Huq.
In the message, Fakhrul said, "I fondly remember national leader Sher-e-Bangla A K Fazlul Huq with deep respect on his death anniversary. He played a strong role in the struggle against the inhuman, unjust, and oppressive rule imposed by colonial powers, making him as an unforgettable figure in history."
“Formation of the Debt Arbitration Board to protect the farmers was one of his groundbreaking and historic steps,” BNP Secretary General said adding Fazlul Haq was a great personality with extraordinary talents.
Fakhrul Islam said the importance of A K Fazlul Huq’s contribution to our national history is immense. He will be remembered forever for his contributions to the welfare of the people and country.
