PM Tarique Rahman mourns death of minister’s mother at 103.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Amena Begum, the mother of Agriculture and Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammed Aminur Rashid.
In a message of condolence, the premier prayed to Almighty Allah for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Amena Begum died of old-age complications at her residence here this afternoon at the age of 103.
Amena Begum is survived by four sons, five daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
