Tarique Rahman to visit Chattogram Puja mandap, meet BNP leaders.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will arrive in Chattogram on Tuesday to visit Sharadiya Durga Puja and exchange greetings with the Hindu community.
Later, he will hold an organizational meeting with local BNP leaders, party and official sources said.
Mahbubur Rahman Shamim, BNP central organizing secretary and administrator of the Chattogram Zila Parishad informed journalists that the Prime Minister will arrive in Chattogram by air. From Shah Amanat International Airport, he is scheduled to go directly to the Puja mandap at J. M. Sen Hall in Rahmatganj at 6:00 PM.
After visiting the Puja mandap and exchange greetings with members of the Hindu community he will distribute financial assistance.
The meeting of the Prime Minister with BNP leaders of Chattogram metropolitan, north and south district units will be held at Radisson Blu hotel.
Organizational matter will be discussed in the meeting, Nazimur Rahman, member secretary of Chattogram city BNP said.
