Leaders discuss trade and business outlook

The 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh was held on April 19 in Dhaka, bringing together key business leaders and members to review activities and discuss future priorities.

The meeting took place at The Westin Dhaka and was chaired by AmCham President Syed Ershad Ahmed. Members of the Executive Committee, including Treasurer Al-Mamun M. Rashel, Rashed Mujib Noman, Rubaba Dowla and Mirza Shajib Raihan, were present.

Paul Frost, Adviser to AmCham Bangladesh and Commercial Counselor at the U.S. Embassy Dhaka, also attended the session, reflecting continued engagement between the business community and international partners.

The AGM was attended by a wide range of AmCham members, along with Chowdhury Kaiser Mohammad Riyadh, Executive Director of the chamber.

The annual meeting serves as a key platform for reviewing organisational performance, strengthening member engagement and discussing trade and investment opportunities between Bangladesh and the United States.

AmCham Bangladesh continues to play a vital role in promoting bilateral business relations, policy dialogue and private sector development in the country.
