Thermo-sensing design reshapes mid-range appeal
Infinix is set to introduce a new design-driven approach in the mid-range smartphone segment with its upcoming HOT 70, placing aesthetics and user experience at the forefront.
As Bangladesh’s smartphone market evolves, younger consumers are increasingly prioritising design alongside performance. The HOT 70 appears to respond to this shift by integrating visual appeal as a core feature rather than a secondary element.
At the centre of the device is a thermo-sensing back panel built with thermochromic technology. This dynamic surface changes colour based on temperature variations, allowing the phone to transform its appearance through touch or environmental conditions. The feature operates passively, requiring no additional power, making it both efficient and distinctive.
Infinix has also focused on improving tactile experience, with a skin-friendly finish designed to offer a comfortable grip, typically associated with premium devices. The emphasis on in-hand feel complements the visual innovation.
Durability is another key consideration. The device is expected to include protection against accidental drops, along with resistance to dust and water exposure, enhancing everyday usability.
The HOT 70 is also likely to incorporate AI-powered features aimed at assisting with tasks such as note-taking and quick problem-solving, while maintaining smooth performance for gaming, multitasking and social media.
With this blend of design, durability and functionality, Infinix aims to redefine expectations in the mid-range smartphone category. Full specifications, pricing and availability are expected to be announced soon.
