Pakistan junior golf team arrives in Dhaka for Bangladesh championship

Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider welcomed the Pakistan Junior Golf Team at the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka on Friday as the team arrived to participate in the 3rd Bangladesh Junior Golf Championship 2026.

The Pakistani junior golfers are competing in the Under-15 and Under-19 categories of the championship, which is being held at the Army Golf Club in Dhaka from September 25 to 27.

The participation of the Pakistani team adds an international dimension to the junior golf championship, bringing young golfers from the two neighbouring countries together through sport.

During the reception at the High Commission, Haider welcomed the players and wished them success in the competition.

The championship is providing a platform for young golfers to gain international competitive experience and further develop sporting ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
