Initiative promotes respect and inclusivity
The Premier Bank has organised an awareness workshop titled “Respectful Workplace Culture” to promote a safe, inclusive, and positive working environment for its employees.
The programme was held at the bank’s Learning and Talent Development Center in Banani, Dhaka, with Chairman Arifur Rahman inaugurating the session. Senior officials, including Independent Director M. Nurul Alam and Managing Director (CC) Md. Monjur Mofiz, were also present.
The workshop featured Fouzia Mannan, Chairperson and Principal of East West University, as the guest speaker. She highlighted the importance of mutual respect, maintaining personal boundaries, and fostering a culture of professionalism within organisations.
Speakers emphasised that a healthy workplace is built not only through policies but also through everyday behaviour, communication, and mutual understanding among employees. They stressed the need for empathy, trust, and accountability to ensure a respectful work environment.
Bank officials noted that such initiatives are crucial in strengthening organisational culture and enhancing employee well-being. They added that promoting inclusivity and respect in the workplace contributes to improved productivity and long-term institutional growth.
The event reflects the bank’s commitment to building a supportive and professional work environment through awareness and continuous learning.
