Energy-Efficient Lighting Brand Hega Launches in Bangladesh

Chinese smart lighting brand Hega has officially commenced operations in Bangladesh, introducing a range of energy-efficient and automated lighting solutions to the local market. The company announced its business launch at an event held in Dhaka, attended by representatives from business organizations, technology professionals, business partners, and members of the media. The company announced the development in a press release issued on Monday (27 July).

According to the press release, Hega's automatic sensor lights are equipped with motion sensing and ambient light detection technologies, enabling the lights to switch on and off automatically based on human presence and surrounding light conditions. The company claims that the technology can reduce electricity consumption by up to 80 percent compared to conventional lighting.

Hega also outlined its long-term plans for the Bangladeshi market. In addition to automatic sensor lights, the company intends to introduce a range of smart home and office automation products, security solutions, smart switches, doorbells, plugs, and other electrical and technology-based products in phases.

Speaking at the launch event, Hega's Country Manager, Al Amin, said, "Our goal is to make internationally recognized automation technologies accessible to consumers in Bangladesh at competitive prices. We will continue working to expand the adoption of energy-efficient and automated solutions in homes and businesses across the country."
