Empowering youth for leadership and impact
JCI Dhaka Alpha has formally launched its 2026 journey with a renewed commitment to leadership development, innovation and community engagement.
The inauguration ceremony, held in Dhaka, marked the beginning of a new leadership term led by Founding Local President Md Asifur Rahman, who officially assumed office in the presence of members and distinguished guests.
Among the attendees were Niaz Rahim, Managing Director of Rahimafrooz Group, and Arefin Raafi, National President of JCI Bangladesh. Both speakers highlighted the importance of youth leadership, entrepreneurship and active participation in community development.
In his address, Asifur Rahman outlined his vision to strengthen leadership capacity, empower young entrepreneurs and expand impactful community-based initiatives. He emphasised creating opportunities for members to grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to society.
The newly formed board includes Kazi Md Shafiul Anwar as Local Executive Vice President, Zain Asif Rahman as Local Vice President, Farhan Mahmud as Local Secretary General and Nazia Hossain as Local Treasurer, alongside other key positions.
The event concluded with a call for unity and active engagement among members to drive positive change through collaborative efforts.
JCI Dhaka Alpha aims to play a significant role in shaping future leaders by fostering innovation, social responsibility and sustainable development initiatives throughout the year.
