Riyadh Air’s Sfeer Nears One Million Members, Announces 1.5 Million Points Giveaway

RIYADH, August 20, 2026: Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, is set to reach one million members of its Sfeer Lifestyle Membership programme this month, marking a major milestone less than a year after its launch.

To celebrate the milestone, Riyadh Air will award one million Sfeer Points to the one-millionth member, who will also become the programme’s final Founding Member.

Two existing Founding Members will also be selected at random to receive 250,000 Sfeer Points each, bringing the total value of the giveaway to 1.5 million Sfeer Points.

According to Riyadh Air, one million Sfeer Points could potentially be used for more than 120 one-way Economy redemption flights across the airline’s expanding network. Redemption is currently expected to become available later in 2026, subject to network rollout, availability and applicable redemption conditions.

The airline said Sfeer Points currently have no fixed expiry date and do not expire under the programme’s existing terms and conditions, giving members greater flexibility to save points and plan future travel.

Sfeer was launched as a lifestyle membership programme designed to extend beyond the traditional airline loyalty model by combining travel, lifestyle benefits, experiences and partnerships. The programme aims to build a global community around Riyadh Air while reflecting Saudi Arabia’s emphasis on hospitality, connectivity and international engagement.

Sfeer members currently have access to benefits including complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi, a “Best Offer Guaranteed” feature and partner offers and experiences. Riyadh Air’s partners include Hilton, Uber and muvi Cinemas, with additional partnerships expected as the programme expands.

Kim Hardaker, Vice President of Loyalty and Sustainability at Riyadh Air, described the one-million-member milestone as a significant achievement for the airline and its growing community.

“Sfeer was created to be more than a traditional loyalty program,” Hardaker said, highlighting its focus on travel, experiences, benefits and partnerships.

She said the giveaway was intended to recognise both the millionth member and those who joined the programme during its early stages.

Riyadh Air said Sfeer is entering its next phase of growth, with plans to introduce additional community features, including the ability to share Sfeer Points with friends and family. The programme is also expected to introduce Level Points, allowing members to progress towards additional benefits, recognition and experiences.

The airline said the Sfeer programme, including earning, redemption, validity, sharing and member benefits, remains subject to its terms and conditions. The one-million-member campaign is also subject to separate eligibility and promotional terms.
