Robi Launches ‘Privacy Avengers’ Competition to Develop Future Leaders in Data Protection

DHAKA, 30 August 2026: Robi Axiata PLC has launched a national case competition titled ‘Privacy Avengers’ to raise awareness among young people about data protection and privacy and help develop the next generation of leaders in the field.

Organised as part of Robi’s ‘Privacy First’ initiative, the competition is open to university students from all disciplines across Bangladesh. Participants will form teams of three and develop innovative and practical solutions to real-life challenges related to data protection and the privacy of personal information. Their solutions will need to take into account customer trust, business requirements and emerging technologies.

Through the initiative, Robi aims to promote a culture of responsible data use among young people and contributes to developing future digital leaders.

Participation in the competition is free of charge. Registration will be open from 1 September to 21 September 2026 through Robi’s website at robi.com.bd/privacy-avengers. The competition carries a total prize pool of Tk 500,000.

Registered teams will be required to analyse a designated case and submit a concept paper by 24 September. Following an initial screening, the top 20 teams will advance to the next round as ‘Privacy Defenders’. The top 10 selected teams will then receive mentorship and guidance from experienced industry professionals.

In the final round, the teams will present their solutions before a grand jury on 13 October. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 15 October, with the winning team being awarded the title of ‘Privacy Guardian 2026’.
