DHAKA, October 7, 2026: Three Bangladeshi technology companies have received international recognition at the ASOCIO Awards 2026 for their contributions to global business services, talent development and artificial intelligence in education.

The awards were presented at the Award Night of the three-day ASOCIO Digital and AI Summit 2026 in Jakarta on Tuesday evening.

The Database Software Ltd received the ASOCIO Global Business Services Award, Creative IT Institute won the ASOCIO Talent Development Award, while SkillUp secured the AI in Education Award.

The three organisations were nominated by the Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS), which represented Bangladesh at the regional technology summit.

A 15-member BCS delegation attended the summit, led by its president Mohammad Zahirul Islam. The delegation included BCS Vice President Md Wahidul Hasan Dipu, Secretary General Mohammad Monirul Islam, Joint Secretary General Md Ahsanul Islam Naushad, Treasurer Abul Hasan, and directors Md Nazrul Islam Hazari and Md Iqbal Hossain, among others.

Zahirul Islam said the recognition was significant for Bangladesh's ICT sector as it demonstrated the capabilities, innovation and skilled workforce of local technology companies in the Asia-Oceania digital economy.

He said the recognition would encourage Bangladeshi technology companies to expand further into international markets, while stressing the need for greater focus on innovation, skills development and sustainable digital transformation.

The summit is being held at the Swissotel Jakarta PIK Avenue from October 5 to 7, bringing together technology professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers and investors from 27 of ASOCIO's 31 member countries.

The theme of this year's summit is "Accelerating Digital Transformation for a Secure, Resilient and Interconnected Digital Economy."

The event is being hosted by the Indonesian ICT Business Association (APTIKNAS).
