Bangladesh Scouts leadership meets PM Tarique Rahman, discusses youth development and future plans.
Members of the National Executive Committee of Bangladesh Scouts today paid a call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s special meeting room at the Cabinet Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat here this afternoon, said Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.
Cabinet Division Secretary Nasimul Ghani led the Bangladesh Scouts members.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed about the current activities and future plans of the Scouts. The Scouts members sought support from the Prime Minister to run the activities of the Bangladesh Scouts.
Tarique Rahman, also ruling BNP chairman, listened to the work plans of the Scouts with great attention and praised the role of the scouting movement in raising the young generation as skilled, patriotic and humane citizens.
At the meeting, the additional press secretary said the Prime Minister was informed about the International Scouts Conference to be held in Dhaka in December.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister was adorned with a scout scarf.
