Yasser: No compromise on improving education quality.
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury today said the government is committed to improving the quality of education and there will be no compromise in this regard.
"The Prime Minister is working for the overall development of the education system, while the government is committed to ensuring a conducive educational environment alongside infrastructural development," he said.
The state minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange of views with teachers at Nandail Pilot High Girls' School in Mymensingh, said a PID press release.
He said improving the quality of education is crucial to building a future generation of skilled and competent citizens.
"To this end, the government is strengthening teacher training, increasing the supply of modern educational materials and undertaking school-based development activities," he added.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Fatema Jannat, among others, at the meeting chaired by Hasnat Mahmud Talha, chairman of the school's ad hoc committee.
Earlier, Yasser visited Anwarul Hossain Khan Chowdhury Degree College in Nandail, where he exchanged views with teachers and planted a mango tree.
