Primary teacher recruits’ joining date advanced to October 1.
The joining date for 14,384 candidates recommended under the Government Primary School Assistant Teacher Recruitment -2025 has been revised.
Instead of the previously announced date of October 29, the new joining date has been brought forward to October 1, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education today.
The notification said that the 14,384 selected candidates must report to their respective District Primary Education Offices on October 1 to complete their joining formalities.
Appointment letters will be sent to the candidates at their respective addresses or through the prescribed procedure in due course, the notification added.
The ministry also outlined the subsequent stages of the recruitment process. The newly recruited teachers will be posted to their designated schools on October 4. Following the completion of the posting process, they will be sent for the required training.
