Malaysia mourns passing of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali

Malaysia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed profound sorrow and extended its deepest condolences following the passing of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali.

In a condolence message, the ministry described her death as an immense loss to the nation, while paying tribute to her contributions and international stature.

“Her stature and contributions extended far beyond Malaysia’s borders,” the ministry said, adding that through her presence and engagement on the international stage, she carried Malaysia’s name with distinction.

The ministry said her legacy would continue to be remembered with great respect.

It also prayed that Allah would bestow His mercy upon her soul and grant her a place among the righteous.
