vivo X500 series brings cinematic video capabilities and ZEISS lenses

Dhaka, October 03, 2026: Global smartphone manufacturer vivo has introduced its X500 series, bringing advanced imaging technology and a new smartphone experience to users. The new series comprises three flagship smartphones: the X500 Pro Max, X500 Pro and X500. The devices feature a range of technologies designed to elevate mobile photography, telephoto imaging and cinematic video creation.
The X500 series features a ZEISS telephoto lens system designed to capture distant scenes with greater clarity and detail. One of the models in the series, the X500 Pro Max, comes with a 200-megapixel ZEISS APO telephoto camera. Combined with the 400mm-equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender, the device can capture distant objects clearly and frame them in detail.
The series also places a strong emphasis on videography. It offers 4K 240fps high-frame-rate video, 4K 120fps Pro AF Tracking and 4K Dolby Vision portrait video. In addition, its X-Track Engine and advanced stabilisation allow users to capture professional-quality still images and videos even while moving at high speed.
The X500 Pro also features an 85mm-equivalent ZEISS APO telephoto camera and a 64-megapixel Sony LYTIA 610 sensor. Designed as an everyday smartphone, the X500 comes with a 72mm-equivalent telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel Ultra-Sensing camera. For users who enjoy portrait photography, the new Cinematic Portrait and vivo Color Palette are designed to offer an enhanced photography experience.
The devices also feature major software upgrades alongside their camera capabilities. Powered by OriginOS 7, the smartphones are designed to deliver a smooth user experience. They also support information sharing with various devices in the Apple ecosystem, while a range of AI-based productivity tools is designed to make everyday tasks easier and smarter.
For performance and durability, the X500 Pro Max and X500 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, while the X500 uses the Dimensity 9600M chipset. To support extended use, the series comes with the largest battery in the X Series, with capacity of up to 7,800mAh, along with 90W wired and 40W wireless FlashCharge.
In terms of design, the devices feature ZEISS Master Color Display, IP68/IP69 water-resistance ratings and a premium look. However, colours, storage options and other features may vary depending on the market or country.
