AG office restricts DAGs and AAGs from leaving assigned courts
The Attorney General’s Office has issued an instruction requesting Deputy Attorneys General (DAGs) and Assistant Attorneys General (AAGs) to strictly remain in their assigned courts during court hours.
According to the notice, it has come to the attention of the Attorney General that some DAGs and AAGs, while serving in their designated courts, are leaving those courts during proceedings and appearing in other courts. Such movements, it said, were reportedly aimed at influencing proceedings in various cases.
The Attorney General’s Office has therefore requested all concerned not to attend any court other than their assigned court during court hours.
