Ariful Haque urges joint efforts to maintain Gazipur labour peace
Labour and Employment Minister Ariful Haque Choudhury today called for collective efforts from all concerned to maintain normalcy in the labour situation in the industrial areas of Gazipur.
He made the call while addressing a views-exchange meeting with relevant stakeholders on the overall labour situation in the industrial areas and safe migration as the chief guest.
The district administration organised the meeting at the Bhawal Conference Room in Gazipur.
The minister said recent labour discontent and unrest were being fuelled by a conspiracy involving defeated fascist forces and outsiders.
He said ordinary workers do not engage in unnecessary unrest, alleging that a conspiratorial group and outsiders were attempting to create instability in factories by instigating workers.
