Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal honor Koko on birth anniversary.
Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal today paid tribute to late Arafat Rahman Koko, youngest son of BNP founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, at his grave at Banani graveyard, marking his 57th birth anniversary.
Jubo Dal leaders and activists placed floral wreaths at Koko's grave and offered prayers and munajat seeking forgiveness for his departed soul.
Jubo Dal Central General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan, Organizing Secretary Kamruzzaman Jewel, Dhaka Mohanagar North Jubo Dal Convener Sharif Uddin Jewel and Member Secretary Sazzadul Miraj, among other central and metropolitan leaders, attended the programme.
Meanwhile, Central Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib led the organization's leaders and activists in paying tribute to Koko by placing floral wreaths at his grave.
Later, they recited Surah Fatiha and offered special prayers and munajat seeking forgiveness for his departed soul.
Prayers were also offered for the eternal peace of the departed souls of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and for the good health and longevity of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
