Maldives, Bangladesh discuss stronger higher education cooperation

A delegation from the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM), comprising officials and students taking part in the Social Entrepreneurship Exposure Program (SEEP) 2026, visited the Maldives High Commission in Dhaka and met with High Commissioner Shiuneen Rasheed and officials.

The delegation shared their experiences from the programme during the meeting and discussed opportunities to further strengthen educational cooperation between the Maldives and Bangladesh.

The discussions focused on potential collaboration between higher education institutions, particularly in areas including curriculum development and academic exchange.

The SEEP 2026 programme was organised by Daffodil International University (DIU), according to the Maldives High Commission.
