PM provides new home to disadvantaged Faridpur family, aids needy people
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has provided a new house to the family of Lakai Biswas, a disadvantaged resident of Faridpur, while livelihood, medical and financial assistance was extended to several other needy families.
Sewing machines were distributed among 10 underprivileged women, while several families received livelihood assistance and medical support.
The information was disclosed by Krishibid Moksedul Momin Mithun, member secretary of ‘Amra BNP Paribar’, an organisation patronised by the Prime Minister.
Mithun said BNP Acting Secretary General and chief adviser to the organisation Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi handed over the keys of the newly built house to members of Lakai Biswas’s family on behalf of the Prime Minister at Char Sarbandia in Gazirtek union of Charbhadrasan upazila in Faridpur today.
Faridpur-4 lawmaker Shahidul Islam Bablu, Faridpur-3 lawmaker Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf, Faridpur district BNP convener Syed Mordares Ali Isha, its member secretary AKM Kibria Swapan, and Krishibid Moksedul Momin Mithun, among others, were present on the occasion.
