BMD forecasts rain, thundershowers across several divisions.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing 9 am.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions," said a Met office bulletin this morning.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy to heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Feni and Ramgati, while today's minimum temperature is 23.8 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am today), the highest 48 millimetre rainfall occurred in Rajarhat.
The sun sets at 6:04 pm today and rises at 5:45 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
