Rain, thundershowers likely across Bangladesh in 24 hours.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours, commencing at 9 am.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was 36.0 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet, while today's minimum temperature is 22.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur.
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am today), the highest 64 millimetre rainfall occurred at Tetulia in Rangpur.
The sun sets at 5:52 pm today and will rise at 5:48 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
