Rain likely in Chattogram, Sylhet over next 24 hours
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9am.
"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Mymensingh and Barishal divisions, with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Chattogram division," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies elsewhere over the country.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly across the country.
The highest temperature of 36.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sylhet on Tuesday, while today's lowest temperature of 21.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sylhet.
The sun will set at 5:47pm today and rise at 5:50am tomorrow in Dhaka.
