Driving Bangladesh toward a greener future
DHS Motors Limited, the official distributor of GAC Motor vehicles in Bangladesh, has unveiled its premium electric vehicle (EV) brand AION at the 19th Dhaka Motor Show, marking a significant step in the country’s transition toward sustainable mobility.
AION has established a strong presence in global EV markets, consistently ranking among the top three in sales in Thailand and China. The brand has also secured the top position in China’s vehicle quality rankings for three consecutive years, reinforcing its reputation for reliability and innovation.
At the event, DHS Motors showcased two flagship models — the AION Y and AION V — both drawing considerable attention for their advanced features, spacious interiors and long-range capabilities. The AION Y offers a driving range of up to 430 kilometres per charge, while the AION V extends this to 485 kilometres, positioning them as competitive options in Bangladesh’s emerging EV segment.
Special introductory prices have been announced for the motor show, with the AION Y available at Tk 50 lakh and the AION V at Tk 62 lakh, generating strong interest among visitors and potential buyers.
In addition to AION, DHS Motors also displayed other GAC models including EMKOO, EMZOOM and the luxury MPV E9, further highlighting its diverse portfolio.
The launch underscores DHS Motors’ commitment to promoting electric mobility and supporting Bangladesh’s broader environmental sustainability goals through cleaner automotive solutions.
