Samsung Bangladesh has officially launched a new lineup of Chest Freezers in Bangladesh, marking a significant step in its commitment to bringing expanded storage and cooling options to households across the country.
The unveiling ceremony took place on April 27,2026 at the Electra Uttara showroom. The event was attended by Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Director and Head of Business for the Consumer Electronics Division at Samsung Bangladesh, alongside colleagues Rajib Das Gupta, Deputy General Manager of Retail Strategy, and Anika Rahman, Chief Manager of Product Planning. Representing Electra International were Shahid Ahmad Abdullah, Executive Director, Mohammad Mubarok Hossain, General Manager of Sales & Marketing and ATM Mohiuddin, General Manager, operations.
The new freezers have a dark gray finish that gives them an elegant, modern look and makes them blend perfectly into the surrounding without standing out. The freezers are available in three models: the RI70F37, RI70F29, and RI70F20, offering 371, 287, and 198 liters of storage respectively so that customers can have a practical choice based on their household sizes and needs.
All 3 models come with an 8-step temperature control system which allows for precise adjustments and an Intensive Cooling mode that can drive temperatures down to -25°C – a critical feature for long-term preservation of meat and fish. The doors are also designed to stay open without support at multiple angles which makes the loading and unloading much easier.
Speaking of the launch, Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Director & Head of Business, Consumer Electronics Division, Samsung Bangladesh, stated, “We have always believed that technology exists to make everyday life easier for people. The new lineup is now available nationwide, offering a reliable and modern solution for long-term food storage. Prices for the new range are: 52,900 BDT for the RI70F20, 62,900 BDT for the RI70F29, and 75,900 BDT for the RI70F37. To celebrate the launch, Samsung is providing a limited-time cashback offer of 3,000 BDT on all three models.
