Health minister vows zero tolerance for attempts to create anarchy.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain said no attempt to create anarchy in the country would be tolerated.
He made the remarks while addressing a view-exchange meeting with BNP leaders and activists at the Manikganj District Shilpakala Academy last evening.
"We have to remain united to build the country," he said, urging BNP leaders and activists to stay united to protect the country.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has been working to build a self-reliant nation that does not depend on others, Sakhawat said.
BNP Manikganj District Convening Committee Member Advocate Azad Hossain Khan chaired the meeting.
Manikganj-1 constituency lawmaker SA Jinnah Kabir, Manikganj-2 constituency lawmaker Engineer Moinul Islam Khan Shanto, Manikganj Zilla Parishad Administrator Advocate Jamilur Rashid Khan, Public Prosecutor (PP) Advocate AFM Nurtaj Alam Bahar and Manikganj District Krishak Dal President Golam Kibria Sayeed, among others, addressed the meeting.
Later, the Health Minister joined an agitation procession in the district town with BNP leaders and activists.
