Italian and Swiss Embassies to Host Film Screening in Dhaka on October 26
DHAKA, October 23, 2026: The embassies of Italy and Switzerland in Dhaka, in partnership with Bengal Foundation, will organise a special film screening in the capital on October 26 to celebrate Italian Language Week 2026.
The screening will feature Ariaferma, an Italian film, at Bengal Foundation in Dhanmondi at 6:30pm. The film will be screened in Italian with English subtitles.
Admission to the event will be free, while seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, according to an announcement by the organisers.
The initiative forms part of the celebration of Settimana della Lingua Italiana (Italian Language Week), an annual international event promoting the Italian language and culture.
The collaboration between the Italian and Swiss embassies and Bengal Foundation also offers Dhaka audiences an opportunity to experience Italian cinema and engage with European cultural expression.
The organisers have invited film enthusiasts and members of the public to attend the screening.
