Sarah Alam Wants Creative Roles, Not Typical Heroine Characters
Bangladeshi actress Sarah Alam says she is not interested in playing conventional heroine roles and instead wants to portray challenging, creative characters that allow her to bring out the core personality of a character.
In a recent special interview with The Shuttle Times, Sarah said she wants to choose roles based on the strength and uniqueness of the character rather than simply appearing as the romantic lead.
“I don’t want to play the typical heroine role. I want to work on creative characters where the personality and depth of the character can truly come out,” she said.
Sarah also revealed that romantic films are not currently her preferred choice. Instead, she is particularly interested in adventure-based stories and projects that offer something different to audiences.
According to the actress, the availability of suitable scripts is one of the main reasons she has not signed with any film production company at present. She said she is waiting for a project that matches her creative ambitions and gives her an opportunity to explore a challenging character.
