China and ADB reaffirm cooperation for Bangladesh’s development.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen met with Asian Development Bank (ADB) Vice President Yang Yingming on August 13 to discuss development cooperation with Bangladesh.
During the meeting, the two sides held an in-depth exchange of views on relevant areas of development cooperation and explored issues of mutual interest concerning Bangladesh’s development priorities.
The discussion highlighted the importance of continued coordination between China and the ADB in supporting Bangladesh’s development efforts through enhanced cooperation and shared development initiatives.
Zhang Qingfeng, ADB Country Director for Bangladesh, was also present at the meeting.
The meeting comes as Bangladesh continues to engage with major development partners to advance infrastructure, economic growth and sustainable development initiatives.
