Switzerland, Bangladesh Explore New Cultural Collaboration

DHAKA, September 2, 2026: Switzerland and Bangladesh are exploring opportunities for deeper cultural exchange following a meeting between Alberto Giovanetti, Head of Political, Economic and Communication Affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland in Dhaka, and Bangladeshi artist Pulak K. Sarkar.

The Swiss Embassy in Dhaka shared the development through its official social media platform, highlighting the meeting as an opportunity to discuss Sarkar’s recent experience during a Pro Helvetia-supported artistic residency in Switzerland.

During the meeting, Giovanetti heard about Sarkar’s experience during the residency, including artistic exchanges and new perspectives he gained while working in Switzerland.
