Bangladesh, India stress stronger bilateral engagement

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Shri Dinesh Trivedi met Bangladesh Water Resources Minister Md Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee on Sunday, with both sides stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral engagement between the two neighbouring countries.

The meeting was held on September 13. State Minister for Water Resources Md Forhad Hossain Azad was also present.

The discussions underscored the need for continued engagement and cooperation to advance the shared aspirations of the peoples of Bangladesh and India.

The meeting comes as the two neighbouring countries continue to engage on issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.
