Muslim World Must Unite to Protect Makkah, Madinah Sanctity
Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad) has said the Muslim world should remain united for safeguarding the sanctity and security of the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
In a statement today, he said Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah are the most revered places of worship and sanctity for Muslims worldwide and are deeply connected with the faith, emotions and love of the Muslim Ummah.
Expressing support for statements by the two Imams of Al-Haramain, he said protecting the sanctity and security of the two holy cities is a collective responsibility.
He called on Muslim states and communities to set aside differences and promote unity, peace, solidarity and welfare.
