Rain likely across Bangladesh, moderate to heavy falls forecast.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in
different parts of the country in next 24 hours commencing 9 am.
"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur
at a few places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places
over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh & Dhaka divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this
morning.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the
country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was 35 degrees Celsius in Chattogram, while today's minimum
temperature is 22.5 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj.
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am today), the highest 58 millimetre rainfall occurred in Ishurdi.
The sun sets at 5:56 pm today and rises at 5:47 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
