BNP urges unity against attempts to destabilise country through violence.
A joint meeting of BNP was held today at the party's central office at Nayapaltan in the capital at 5pm to remain united against ill-attempts to destabilise the country through planned acts of violence.
BNP Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi chaired the meeting, said a press release here.
BNP Joint Secretary Generals - Khairul Kabir Khokon, Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Md. Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee, Advocate Abdus Salam Azad and Syed Emran Saleh Prince; Organising Secretaries Kazi Saiyedul Alam Babul, Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, Syed Shaheen Shawkat, Asadul Habib Dulu, Principal Selim Bhuiyan, Shariful Alam, Shama Obaed and Anindya Islam Amit; and Assistant Organising Secretaries Benazir Ahmed Titu, Nazrul Islam Azad, Harun-or-Rashid Harun, Barrister Mir Helal Uddin, Md. Abdul Khaleque, Professor Aminul Islam, Amirul Islam Khan Alim, AHM Obaidur Rahman Chandan, Babu Jayanta Kumar Kundu, AKM Kuddusur Rahman, Mahbubul Haque Nannu, Kolim Uddin Ahmed Milon, Miftah Siddique, Md. Mostak Mia, Khandaker Mashukur Rahman, Abu Wahab Akand and Wares Ali Mamun were present in the meeting.
The conveners and member secretaries of BNP’s Dhaka North and South city units, as well as the central presidents/conveners/general secretaries/member secretaries of Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal were also present.
At the meeting, it was unanimously decided to enhance the party’s organisational activities and a call was made for everyone to remain united against any attempt to destabilise the country through orchestrated violence.
