Tarique, Ajay Banga discuss Bangladesh development and economic progress.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and World Bank Group President Ajay Banga today discussed Bangladesh's development priorities and economic progress during a meeting at the United Nations Headquarters on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
They also discussed various issues of mutual interest, said Prime Minister's Assistant Press Secretary KM Nazmul Haque.
The two sides exchanged views on further strengthening the World Bank's cooperation in Bangladesh's development activities and exploring new areas of partnership in the future.
