Rain, thundershowers forecast across Bangladesh in next 24 hours.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Thursday was at 36.5 degrees Celsius in Ramgati, while today's minimum temperature is 21.5 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj.
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am today), the highest 118 millimetre rainfall occurred in Tetulia.
The sun sets at 5:59 pm today and rises at 5:46 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
