DHAKA, October 16, 2026 — Maldives High Commissioner Shiuneen Rasheed has called for stronger international cooperation to address climate change, build resilience and advance sustainable development, emphasising the need to support countries most vulnerable to its impacts.
She made the remarks while delivering the keynote address at the opening session of a high-level policy dialogue organised by Daffodil International University (DIU) to mark Sustainability Day 2026.
