Nepalese President congratulates Mirza Fakhrul on election.
Nepalese President Ramchandra Paudel today congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as the 23rd President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
In a congratulatory message, the Nepalese president wished the newly elected Bangladeshi president success in discharging his responsibilities, according to the Nepal embassy here.
Paudel also reaffirmed Nepal's commitment to further strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Nepal and Bangladesh, including the deep-rooted people-to-people ties that bind the two countries together.
President Paudel expressed hope that the close and cordial relations between the two neighbouring countries would continue to grow in the days ahead.
