State Minister vows quality services, no extra land office fees
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit today asked government officials to ensure quality services to the people.
No extra money beyond the government-fixed fees would be allowed to be charged at land offices, he said while inaugurating the newly constructed building of the Ramnagar Union Land Office in Jashore Sadar upazila this morning.
Later, he inaugurated the construction of drains and roads in Ward No. 5 of Jashore Municipality.
The state minister said the government led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman wants to bring services to people's doorsteps and is working to reduce public suffering.
The Prime Minister wants to transform the government into a people-oriented one, he said adding the current government belongs to all the people of the country.
The government will not deviate even an inch from its commitment to the people and will ensure quality services for every citizen, he added.
