Speaker, Deputy Speaker mourn BNP leader Salah Uddin Ahmed’s death
Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikrom, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of former lawmaker and BNP Commerce Affairs Secretary Salah Uddin Ahmed.
In a condolence message issued this evening, the Speaker prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal and Chief Whip Md. Nurul Islam Moni also expressed profound shock and sorrow at his death, said a press release of the Parliament Secretariat.
The Namaj-e-Janaza of Salah Uddin Ahmed will be held tomorrow at 11:00 am at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
Salah Uddin Ahmed breathed his last at around 8:10 pm today while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
