Marketing Executive of BNH Hospital’s Bangladesh representative, GD Assist Ltd, Farjana Asha, said the organization facilitates travel for approximately 1,500 Bangladeshi patients every month, with the majority seeking executive health checkups and accurate diagnosis of complex diseases.
She noted that although BNH Hospital offers a wide range of advanced medical treatments, some patients find the treatment costs beyond their financial capacity.
Bangkok Hospital, represented in Bangladesh through Life and Health Company, also reported a significant rise in patient referrals.
Operation and Marketing Director Mohammad Shohid Ullah said the organization refers patients from across Bangladesh and currently facilitates treatment for more than 2,000 patients every month.
Assistant Director (Operation and Marketing) Md. Saiful Islam said thousands of international patients travel to Thailand annually for services ranging from preventive health screenings and cosmetic procedures to cancer treatment, cardiology, orthopaedics, neurology, fertility treatment, rehabilitation, and other highly specialized medical care.
Officials from MedPark Hospital Bangladesh Office said Bangladeshi patients increasingly choose Thailand because of its advanced diagnostic capabilities and access to sophisticated medical technology.
The office said its primary focus is sending patients for specialist consultations and accurate diagnosis in technologically advanced medical environments. The hospital has set a target of facilitating treatment for 5,000 Bangladeshi patients every month.
Meanwhile, Piyavate Hospital Bangladesh Office stated that patient confidence remains one of Thailand’s strongest advantages.
According to hospital representatives, Thailand has earned international recognition for its modern private hospitals, internationally accredited healthcare standards, advanced medical technology, multilingual support services, dedicated international patient centres, and efficient patient coordination systems.
Country Manager of BPK 9 International Hospital, Niloy Ahmed, said the hospital is interested in establishing a local branch in Bangladesh to provide international-standard healthcare services closer to Bangladeshi patients.
He also called for policy support from the Bangladesh government to facilitate future healthcare investments and strengthen bilateral medical cooperation.
