President urges JSTU to improve education quality, research standards
A delegation of Jamalpur Science and Technology University (JSTU) paid a courtesy call on President and Chancellor of the university Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban here this morning.
JSTU VC Professor Dr Md Amir Hossain led the delegation, president’s press wing sources said.
During the meeting, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Amir Hossain briefed the President about various aspects of the university’s academic and research activities, administrative progress, infrastructural development and future plans.
The President urged the delegation to further improve university’s education quality and research, aligning with international standards.
He also assured the delegation of necessary cooperation when they apprised the President of the university’s existing limitations and challenges and sought his necessary cooperation in addressing the issues.
University’s Treasurer Professor Dr Mohammad Ali Hossain and Registrar Md Sarwar Jahan were present among the delegation members.
Officials of Bangabhaban were present during the meeting.
